IBSC researchers are actively contributing to numerous Flora projects throughout the world.  The projects include:

Flora Reipublicae Popularis Sinicae

IBSC reseachers had finished compiling ca. one third of all 80 volumes.

Flora of China

Prof.  YANG Qiner is the director of Flora of China Project, and over 10 IBSC researchers are family authors.

Flora of Guangzhou

It is the first local flora in China published in1956. Editor in chief: HOU Kuanzhao

Flora of Hainan

A total of 4 volumes were finished in 1977. Editor in chief: HOU Kuanzhao

Flora of Guangdong

There are 2 volumes (Volume 10, 11) still in editing. Editor in chief: CHEN Fenghuai, WU Delin

Flora of Macao

It contains 1,604 species and each plant is illustrated with color photos. Editor in chief: XING Fuwu

Flora of Hong Kong

It is an English written flora and Volume 4 is still in editing. Editor in chief: HU Qiming, WU Delin & XIA Nianhe

Flora of Lechang

It is a county flora and published in 2005. Editor in chief: YE Huagu

Other Floras

Prof. HU Qiming and Prof. ZHANG Dianxiang have been invited to be family or genus authors for Flora of Thailand, Flora of Malesiana, Flora du Cambodia，du Laos，et du Vietnam etc.
